Carbon Footprint Friday

What did you do this week to reduce your carbon footprint? How eco-friendly is your community? Is it easy to take public transportation or ride your bike to work?

For the first time ever, I rode YeloVelo to work every day of the week. It didn't always work out well, but I did it.

Here's the really cool part. I started riding to work, 18.5 miles each way, on May 16. Today, when I get home, I'll be at 997 miles. A quick ride to breakfast with the family tomorrow will put me over a thousand miles of pedaling, instead of driving. Seriously, how cool is that?
