Dear Teabagger Congress-Critter,

I pass under this bridge every day on my way to work. Sometimes, because of the stop light, I have to stop under it, listening to traffic overhead, terrified it will come crashing down on me at any second. Even if nobody is under it when it falls, the destruction it will cause to the local community, with a year-long or more delay in traffic to fix it, would be devastating to an an already distressed economy.

There are so many local people looking for work, and money is cheaper to borrow than it has been in my entire lifetime (and I'm old, so old I remember when the bridge was new). Will you please introduce legislation to take advantage of this opportunity to fix this bridge, before it kills me, you, or one of our family members or friends? And will you do it now, when we can best afford it and when the return, in jobs, improved infrastructure, and tax revenue, can offset the cheapest money we could ever hope to use to return our nation to the glory that allowed us to lead the world?
