Can we stop pretending that Sanders will have coattails, or that his “yuuuuuge youth movement” will help anybody but himself?
Perhaps if he had done something to help, told his followers at his rallies that the SC race mattered, asked them in emails to support Kloppenburg, it might have helped, raised money for her, anything. But The Bern never does that.
Any argument that Sanders might have with superdelegates (and I don’t think there is one) about his coattails, his tsunami of young voters lifting all boats, etc., went down with the Wisconsin SC election.
